That's actually my old laptop. I can't use my current laptop at the moment as I left the power adapter at a mate's place. This machine has the same apps/config/email settings though, so it's like a backup machine

Old laptop:
PowerBook 12"
867mhz G4 processor
640mb RAM
40gb HDD
Some nVidia graphics (forget which)

Current laptop (not shown):
MBP 15"
1.83ghz Core Duo
2gb RAM
100gb HDD @ 7200rpm
ATI MRX1600XT

I use my laptop as my main machine, so it gets hooked up to the 24" Dell. The little G4 is 4 years old but still drives the 24" at its native resolution very well

And here's a pic of the full desktop setup. My friends nickname it 'mission control' or the 'flight deck'

The centre 24" is the main work screen that gets hooked up to my laptop. The right 17" is used for viewing documentation/reference etc, while the left is usually hooked up to the server to monitor torrents (in this pic its actually hooked up to a different machine I'm prepping for someone). I use the same kb/mouse with all the screens/machines, thanks to Synergy.

They do? How so...? I think the Dell looks nice, especially with the white outline. You could say that a lot of brands (Asus, Toshiba, HP etc) produce some generic looking laptops.

Mungo - nice Asus! A bit off topic but I recognise that JP sticker...got a few here myself

the white outline is probably the reason why i think it looks generic actually. Its also abit thick for my liking, not my style i guess.

HP and Toshiba make very sexy looking laptops actually. with the Altec Lancing and Harmon Kardon speakers
