Default What do OCAU forums look like on Windows Mobile IE?

Can someone post a photo of what the OCAU forums look like on Windows Mobile 5.0 Internet Explorer?

I want to get a cheap WLAN PDA for surfing the net around the house (rather than getting a full blown laptop) and was wondering if the Windows Mobile 5.0 Internet Explorer renders webpages decently.

I'll do a pic later when my pda is charged.

The short answer is they look exactly the same as they do on most other browsers (ie it doesn't scale down well, or have an alternate stylesheet for pocket ie).

So you'll be doing a lot of sideways scrolling.

It's fairly ordinary, on a 320x240 screen.

How about using other browsers like Netfront and Opera Mobile?

Makes no difference which browser you use, the problem is that your screen size is so small eg 320x240.

If you got a PDA with a 640 x 480 screen, it might be passable (not that I've tried).

I'm not really a fan of it, but its useful as a last ditch resort if I have wifi access and not pc access (doesnt happen that much anymore)
too much scrolling and typing on an on screen keyboard for me

Not a fan of browsing on my wifi enabled PDA as well, too small.

Opt for a tablet PC.

There are many PDAs with 640x480 screens, and if you write and apply your own style sheet, it would look ok.

The 320x240 res on the 838pro is average at best for web browsing, seems quite ok for IRC, msn & skype via wifi at home tho, much handier having it on the couch that my lappy while playing the Wii

Browsing on my HP HX4700 is ok in Opera mobile, Pocket IE does suck though (but, it is IE so what does one expect lol)

Pocket IE is a waste of time, use Opera or Netfront. I use Opera on my Axim x51v and OCAU looks quite OK on it.
