I recently purchased the metabox 735 by clevo from laptopchoice.com.au...
I'm having problems with the DVD player running in PIO mode instead of DMA mode, causing DVDs to play choppy etc. I have Vista RTM installed, but the same thing happened when I had XP installed... it won't let me put it on DMA mode and there seems to be no bios settings that I can change.... i've tryed forcing it in regedit, but it didn't seem to do anything... I didn't really know what I was doing though... do you guys think it's something I can fix? or should I call warrenty? |

Are all the drivers installed? (i.e. mobo, SATA (if applicable), etc.)

In device manager, delete the DVD drive and restart the computer. If this doesn't work, I'd probably call 'em.
