Default Asus Service Experiences?

I bought a W2P not long ago that has two minor build quality problems, and I am debating whether or not to bother sending it back to have them corrected. The countervailing consideration is that the laptop cost quite a bit, I don't want technician-monkeys damaging it, and any scratches or cosmetic damage done during service would be glaring, because they would expose silver aluminium under the dark grey anodised finish. Moreover, it would be pretty silly to send back a laptop to fix two largely unnoticeable cosmetic flaws, and have it return with patently obvious ones that cannot be fixed.

The last few companies from which I have bought laptops have all had shitty service departments where the technicians took no care whatsoever. One returned a brand new laptop to me with coffee cup rings covering the lid, and the lid covered in scratches from the same cups. Can I expect the same sort of treatment from Asus?

Ive got two asus laptops myself but never had to go to the service centre but i do have a friend whos keyboard stopped working. He took it to the service centre in the valley, brisbane (not sure where your from?) and picked it up the next day, fixed under warranty and good as new.
