In times like these I turn to OCAU
I recently bought one of these awa x100's from big w, works great so far. I noticed it had a USB connection so I hooked it up to the PC yet without drivers it does nothing. No cd provided, no AWA website for support. So I did my googling and found a site which offers POI's suitable for navigator, but I cant for the life of me figure out what version of navigator is installed on the X100 or where the .csv or .dat etc are suppose to reside on the sdcard. Do I just dump it onto the card and it'll automatically put it into favourites in the gps? I'm hoping somebody has had some experience with this model. Thanks in advance

To link to your PC go to Microsoft & download Activesync 4.2.
I think instead of Navigator you mean Destinator, the version installed is ver.6 with Whereis ver.13 mapping. FYI the AWA X100 is a Voxson Voxtrack 300. I also have one & am trying to find out how to install more POIs, if I find out I'll post it here. I would also like to know if I can use other software like Oziexplorer or similar. There are some pretty clever people here so we may get an answer!

Hi guys,
Simply convert the POI databases you've downloaded into Destinator format. Load up Destinator console on your PC/laptop, choose the favourites option, and you can choose new databases to upload and add.

I was told by Destinator help line that you can't add to pre-set POIs & that you can only enter others into Favourites.

got the opportunity to buy one of these units at work (brand new but no box) for $212, do you reckon its a good deal? could really do with one of these for all the times i have to rummage around a street directory but could be a bit redundant. how do you buy and upload new maps to it?

I was able to add preset POIs in to Destinator PN using Destinator console.
