whats the cheapest way to trial or play guild wars prophecies?

Not Proph, but you can use my 10hr/14day Nightfall trial key if you want. Also EB are having a 2 for $50 game sale with Factions available for $25.

As for Proph...there is no demo or anything I don't think, maybe borrow a friend's account is the easiest way to trial the game.

I wanna play GW again, played it ages ago when it was out the first month. How many more packs has been out since then and are they stil for sale online?

Btw i brought it online and downloaded it from same site, now cant remember where i got it from anymore to try and get my username password again :*(

Dude, the game is free once you've setup your initial account! Just pick up an old copy for $20 in the bargin bin.

Up and running now. So first i hit lvl 20 then buy factions then nightfall right? What is the difference between normal expansion and the expansion pvp edition?

This is where im confused, the pvp only edition cost more? huh but cant do campaigns.

Each game is a standalone, you don't need a previous one to play the other, so they aren't "expansions".

You do not need to get to L20 to play/buy the later chapters. PvP editions are ones where every skill/pvp-item has already been unlocked for you so you don't have to play through PvE to unlock everything (which would take very long). It's mainly for people who play PvP tournaments who can't be bothered spending hundreds of hours of PvE just to access everything. PvP characters are already at max level but can't play PvE.

If you are going to buy another chapter, people recommend Nightfall first because of Heroes and more people are playing it.

Yea I recommend Nightfall as the 2nd buy if you feel the need . .although play some Prophesies first to get into the game proper

I don't want to say any more since I am sure that most of the people in the TTA guild are good people, but there were things going on that we felt we could not ignore and decided to try elsewhere for an alliance.

On settings which were once easily playable, GW now runs like a slideshow presentation.
