err

i don't care for this given i often just carry it in a shopping bag as you look like a tool with a laptop bag

i have some dell oem $20 bags from the swaps and some official thinkpad bags

At the risk of being unhelpful, a Targus bag also screams "I have a laptop!"

Probably much easier to carry around though especially if your laptop is heavy.

I bought on of those for about 60 bucks. It's a great bag, as it is just as tiny as my laptop. It fits my laptop, charger, mouse, cd case and not much more. I could prolly fit in a toolbox or something, but I don't use it enough to justify it.

I have a Dell small nylon bag to house my Latitude D620.

It doesn't open up similar to a briefcase like the old laptop bags, which is good, it is nice and slim, very sleek looking.

Better than the older model.

I got mine from a bag shop, rather than a computer shop. Only cost me $25. it's the standard looking one, over the shoulder. It's pretty good, except one button clip broke.

dink, what lappy you got?

Some Super size Targa Leather sling case. It's pretty decent, but I don't like the way it holds the laptop (Dell XPS M1710). Little too much shifting in it while carrying.

I travel interstate a lot and my 9400 is killer to carry around (I got the Dell laptop carry bag too), so I use this:

Fits my 17" widescreen just snugly and I can fit everything in easily - power pack, extra 9 cell, mouse, keyboard, etc + books/manuals, clothes, whatever

It conforms to domestic carry-on luggage so you don't have to worry about it being thrown about by baggage handlers.
It also comes with large corner mounted wheels and an extendable handle for wheeling around the airport.

Sound more like a suitcase than a laptop bag

I'm looking at this bag. Anyone own one, or had experience with STM products?
