If you've recently bought some new gear and want to share it with us, please post it here.

Few test shots.. not the greatest subjects and I'm still learning the DoF but FAR out the sharpness is just mind blowing. The AF is super super quick!
I LOVE this lense I'll get out over the weekend to take a few more.. here are some test shots. ISO 400+ (most 640), Canon 5D no post processing. No sharpening. I'm using a shit LG L1710 LCD that is TERRIBLE with color so I cant actually tell if the contrast is any good New monitor next..http://cruizinwollongong.com/kkeen/Misc/Cat.jpg http://cruizinwollongong.com/kkeen/Misc/Cat2.jpg

![]() Seriously, I understand how it all works. I can see the laptop photo in the directory and I saw the Cat.jpg photo after much stuffing around. Put them on ugbox.net if you are having server issues.

Ok. Handheld, no PP and bad technique. ISO 1600 as its pretty dark outside now. f5.6, 1/200 sec

Doesn't look that special? There are sharper lenses around... If there is a difference, it's reallllly minute. I'm sure the 70-200 f/2.8 is just as sharp and a lot more versatile.
Enjoy your lens though! |
