certainly don't hate Leica, but probably would never buy one over a full featured dslr.

got for a pretty good price too , well below my highest bid. quite a bit cheaper than what i was gonna pay for it when i go to hong kong later

edit: oh and another nice suprise i didnt realise before. it takes 52mm filters so i can share filters with my nifty fifties (probably a bad thing as i might end up spending on a hoya HD CPL for it $_$)

update: the voigtlander is awesome.
on the FM2, it's small size and mega smooth manual focusing ring is perfect
on the D90, the VF is large enough that i can manual focus pretty accurately, and its a dream for video as the focus is so smooth and the f/2 really helps for the cinematic effect
the macro adaptor add-on lens is good, about 2x magnification. so focuses to about 17cm. doesnt lose too much quality like those el cheapo ones

Hi All,

I finally got my first DSLR the other day. I got a Nikon D90 18-105VR kit with a 55-200 and a 50mm 1.5 with 4 filters. Im rapped with it as I got it all at a great price.

Now I just have to learn how to use it correctly. Also the good thing is my friend has a Nikon D700 with about 11 lenses. If I want to try something else out I can pinch his.

I'd like to know this too!

Both Teds and Camera House on Adelaide Street have sweet F.A Cokin (in fact the guy at Camera House just flat out said "Sorry, we don't do Cokin")

My lovely lady just bought me (yesterday) a 77mm adapter ring, P series wide angle holder, an ND8 and a GND8 filter from Photo Continental
