Congratulations !
Looking forward to seeing some images !

Had a wee chuckle on that video, at 60sec he is hammering the shutter button while using tripod for scenic shot
immediately followed by a lens crunching into the mount on first fitting attempt hehe

Cool

Yeah, wasn't really looking at that part of it. ^O^ more the high flash sync results (yeah, even with the doctoring).

Was reminded of 'Bruce Testones'... Professional Photographer.

"My philosophy is, what ever it takes to get the shot"
"How can you get the shot if you don't have any film in the camera?"

Not really worth taking a photo but I just got the rear lens cap for my XL2. It's been ridiculous trying to track it down and it cost me $35 to get here. Now I can finally seperate my lens and body for transit.

Lies! Haha

But seriously, the mylar overlays for mounting the slides arrived yesterday from the US (I cannot believe I couldn't source them locally!). I've got the mounting fluid, film/drum cleaner, overlays and ICC calibration slides for the majority of current/popular films, so I'm just about ready to go! I'm going to work on the scanner over the weekend and will post some examples up here later on.

In order to establish a good pricing scheme for scanning services, I'll be offering free scanning (for a variety of formats) to a select few OCAU members, who can help me set fair prices, so be on the look out for that!
