Sandisk Extreme IV cards are a waste of cash regardless.

Sandisk Ultra II + Extreme 3/4 = lifetime warranty, yes please!

Make sure you change lenses with the camera turned OFF. If the sensor is 'active', then tend to attract dust much more.

How is the sensor active when the camera is on? Sensor is only 'active' when taking a photo.

Either way - shutter and mirror are in the way, if you change lenses quick enough and away from wind etc... you'll be fine.

Why do people make comments about things they obviously know nothing about? When the camera is on, the sensor always has a small charge applied to it - do some research. I did, that's how I know.

The shutter/mirror assembly is not air/dust tight. If you're defining 'quick' lens changes as taking the lens off quickly, then that's worse than just a casual lens change as you create a backdraft of air rushing into the camera body taking dust in with it.

I disagree. Transcend offers top performance [~16-17 MB/sec] and reliability [lifetime warranty, and — in my experience — no lost images/card errors/compatibility issues] at far cheaper prices [the 120x 8 GB is $210 or thereabouts]. Very good choice, nap. Enjoy your new toys

I shall be getting one or two for my next camera. Guess which one that is

Talking Canon EF 70-200 f/4L IS USM

After an interminable wait [5 days], my hands cradled it this noon

How good is it? Hmm ... evaluate this test shot taken with my EOS 400D, f/4, 1/15 sec, @ 75mm, handheld:

Do you like what you see? Do you?

Except for white balance, there is no post-processing whatsoever. You still like?

Nice and sharp

They sure weren't exaggerating about its sharpness, wide open and regardless of focal length. This lens is going with me to the grave.
