Default Spotted a bargain and want to share? Post it here

If you've spotted a bargain and want to let people know please post about it here rather than make a new thread.

Default Anyone with some spare cash?

Canon 200f1.8 in OZ

I wouldn't buy it myself, if I was forking out that much cash I'd want one in better condition but it might go cheapish.

Already up to $3000

Might go for $4400ish I think? Otherwise you'd just get one from "Mr 200/1.8" in South Korea

Most people probably don't know about him There is an 800mm f5.6 listed now as well, pity it is an FD.

They were discontinued in 2003 when they were selling for US$3500. At that time secondhand ones were in the US$2000-US$3000 range. (They were released initially in 1988)

Since then the secondhand market has been steadily increasing.

They regularly sell for US$4500 and I've seen some sold at US$4900(!)

You know it's a serious lens when they have to bolt the label plate onto the lens rather than 'printing' it into the paint.
