Hmm pretty much the only stuff worth getting are the lenses under AUD$1000
Once you go over $1000, the GST and customs fees doesn't make it worth while The good deals are (in AUD including delivery): 28/1.8 for ~$500 50/1.4 for ~$400 60/2.8 for ~$490 17-40/4 for ~$820 70-200/4 for ~$705 |

Mute did - "customs fees".
What fees are there other than duty? You're not going to reqire AQIS clearence on a lens. |

You pay:
10% GST on total price including delivery (if value is over AU$1000) Customs processing fee That's it. No duty as it's not applicable to camera lenses. Example: You buy a lens from Adorama and it comes to AU$1500 total including delivery. $1500 + 10% GST + customs processing fee = $1500 + $150 + ~$50 = ~$1700 |
