Not a big fan of Harris Tech but found these in their mag-

Listed it in the magazine as having a bonus 512MB card with it (assume its 512MB) its not the greatest camera but would be good for someone with a child who wanted a cheap camera. If i did not already have a camera, would think about getting one for travelling with, AA battery power supply for cheapness and good for not requiring a recharger.

Its $399 on their website but $299 in their magazine for 1st of March. Can't go too wrong for $299 with this video camera

I ended up buying 3 x 2g Extreme III memory cards for $69 each at JB

Obviously originals, boxed with the Phase One special.

Went up and said, "I want three of these, how much can you do it for? I've seen them cheaper". She then said "what price you've seen them for?".
I then replied, "$69", to which she said "Done".

Too easy, love JB!

Just for reference, where were you going to tell them you saw them cheaper for if they asked you? I'm hoping to go pick up some more memory too

I just brought a printout of the screenshot and they price matched a 1GB Ultra CF from $72 to $53.

I went to grab a 4GB extreme 3 (about $110) from JB but like everywhere else in both Melb and Syd they are sold out but he did offer me 2 X 2GB Extreme 4's for $100.

I am going to wait till Center.net.au get some more in.

Its looks to be pretty 'dumb' as it does not support ETTL and the other ones for the different brands.

What brand camera do you have?

Basically you want to get a flash supports the cameras flash technologies or else you will be doing alot of the work by hand which I am lead to believe is not very fun.

If you have a canon I would suggest you get a 400ish series EX flash or equivilent from Sigma.
That range of models has a good distance and functionality for the price.

Are you serious? Extreme 3 or 4 and which store?

I thought my $70 Extreme 3 2Gb was a bargain.....

It was in Geelong. I think he may have just done it for me as there was only 1 store at the time that had stock in both NSW and VIC.
