Default Grab drivers off the compaq recovery cd

does anyone know if its possible to grab the drivers off a recovery cd somehow?

i want to try the original drivers rather then downloading new ones as i have a few issues with my laptop.

Hey if you find out how too aswel let me know =p they have my vista drivers on it..not that ill use vista on my laptop anytime soon but when i do i dont want to use the home basic shit it came with lol

If you installed Windows from the recover partition, you could use something like My Drivers to get all the driver files.

Yeah best bet would be grabbing them from the recovery partition. There was a certain folder that had them...I think it was swsetup. When I got mine, I blew everything away and installed XP pro and lost that.

dam! i just burnt the recover thing to dvd's then wiped both partitions. they have to be on the 3 dvd's i burnt somewhere
