Default 20" "Lap"top - RockXtreme SL Pro

In CustomPC theres an article about this "Lap"top.

Overkill isnt the word for it.

Spec:

2GHz Turion TL-60
nForce4 SLI Chipset
1GB PC5300
2x 512MB GeForce Go 7950GTX SLI
2x 100GB 7200rpm SATA Raid-0
20" TFT with X-Glass
Gigabit LAN
Dimensions = 476 x 343 x 47 (H x W x D)
Weight = 6.9kg

Thats like carrying around a barbell disc from a gym!

it may be overkill, but hey there's a market for a machine like this as many people are replacing desktops with laptops and for a gamer this machine would be heaven...

a link would be nice too.

Acer have 20" laptops too - and Dell class their XPS M2010 as a laptop, even though it's really more of a portable PC.

But why? It'd be awful as a laptop (far too heavy, no decent battery life, and it wouldn't even fit on some desks). It'd be awful as a desktop too (slow, no expansion options, and too expensive).

Also, RAID0 in a laptop has to get an award for the worst idea ever. Laptops will tend to be moved more often while the HDD is running than desktops - and in RAID0, if one drive dies then all your data's gone permanently.
