Project: DarkMac

Ok well now that i have finished my first mod it is time to get onto something else, something a little bit manly
So for this project i have picked up a Mac G5 case. Onto some pictures....



Now as you can probably see it has not had the easiest life, it has many scratches and dings on it so i plan to coat this beast with a mat black colour all over but preserve the logo. Also i have seen many other G5 pc conversions that have left this case hacked to pieces, i am going to try and preserve most of what makes this case so sleek and elegant. The psu will probably have to go as i am next to no good with electronics so i can not rewire it up for pc use.... I will also need your help with the wiring of the front panel electronics as well. Other than that i think i will be pretty sweet.
In the near future i will first get some alu sheets for constructing a new motherboard tray (i will get a mATX board so nothing needs to be cut on the inside of the case). The one place that will hve to go under the knife is the i/o panel as it is almost useless...
Other stuff going in this will be a couple of nice blue led fans, i will need to source some more as apple is using the only size i don't have :P damn 92mm... Ok so that is it for this little introduction, i wil try and update every so often
For now i am going to go sleep and see what new ideas come in my dreams

Please post any comments or suggestions in here guys and we will see what direction this thing goes in

Haha, yes well compared to my other mod...
