what I should have said, is non violent game, I wouldn't let any 3-6 year old near a first person shooter, well not my kids anyway...

There's plenty of car racing games. Project Gothem 2, Burnout series etc. There's a Spongebob Squarepants game, Wallance and Gromit game, the crash bandicoot series. The list goes on.

Here you go have a look here.

On the plus side there are other useful tips on that site to grow your sprouts into a n3rD.

Crash Nitro Kart or Furious Karting is lots of fun for the little ones.

Try Beyond Good and Evil, I'm pretty sure it's non-violent, you play a photographer in a fantasy world sorta thing, apparently it's actually pretty good.

The Lego Star Wars games are great, and as said, there are plenty of driving games...

Also try Munch's Odessey

My son loves his Xbox. The games he seems to play most often are:

TMNT
TMNT2
TMNT3 - Mutant Nightmare
TMNT Mutant Melee
Burnout Revenge
Cars
Shrek Super Party
Shrek Slam
Open Season
Sensible Soccer
Crash Nitro Cart
EA Cricket 2005
Hot Wheels Stunt Track
Tom & Jerry

Some of them are bash-em-up games (TMNT, Shrek Slam) but he is going to play those games at friends houses anyway.
