Default My Thermaltake Soprano Case Mod - Air Cooling

Hey,

I have owned a Thermaltake Soprano case for nearly a year now, but I have recently purchase a scythe fan controller

http://www.pccasegear.com/prod4246.htm

which might I add is wicked, but the front door doesn't close so I had some ideas in my head and begin on my first modding quest.

Here is the inside of my case at the moment

So I began.....

The front door on the Soprano case is removable so I wanted to modd the front by just modding the existing front cover.

I hate the top and bit bottoms which stick out so they HAD to go.....

I used this drill bit.......(I have a dremel like tool expect no good bits for it)

And this is what I got.......

I began to file and sand it down to make it smoooth.....

Looking good, waiting to see how this turns out. So are you doing anything apart from removing the door?

Yeah,

I have scratched the front case quite a bit now (woops) and am thinking of re painting the interiors and exterior

Also I am going to out some UV lights in it so some UV paint an some neat tidy work won't go astray!!

ive got an AMD 5600+ X2, not overclocked, dont think i will because its fast enough as it is, and they only overclock 400mhz above stock

I should come over one day Daniel, then we can O/C your processor and not waste that good cooling, also how much of that mesh do you have, cos I might buy some off you for my mod lol.

It is like the perfect size (height ways) for my case it is roughly

44cm x 30cm

It is still in the white board state at the moment
