Hey,
I have owned a Thermaltake Soprano case for nearly a year now, but I have recently purchase a scythe fan controller http://www.pccasegear.com/prod4246.htm which might I add is wicked, but the front door doesn't close so I had some ideas in my head and begin on my first modding quest. ![]() Here is the inside of my case at the moment ![]() Click to view full-sized image! Hosted by UGBox Image Store Click to view full-sized image! Hosted by UGBox Image Store So I began..... The front door on the Soprano case is removable so I wanted to modd the front by just modding the existing front cover. I hate the top and bit bottoms which stick out so they HAD to go..... Click to view full-sized image! Hosted by UGBox Image Store I used this drill bit.......(I have a dremel like tool expect no good bits for it) Click to view full-sized image! Hosted by UGBox Image Store And this is what I got....... I began to file and sand it down to make it smoooth..... Click to view full-sized image! Hosted by UGBox Image Store I also hated the buttons and existing intake....soooooo I got rid of that aswell zzzzzzzzzzz Click to view full-sized image! Hosted by UGBox Image Store Click to view full-sized image! Hosted by UGBox Image Store Yay. I plan to put this mesh in Click to view full-sized image! Hosted by UGBox Image Store or this one??? I don't know what do you reckon? Click to view full-sized image! Hosted by UGBox Image Store That is all for now, wait till next week!!! Thanks Guys!! IF you have any ideas, or anything else which mesh to use etc just submit a reply!! |

Looking good, waiting to see how this turns out. So are you doing anything apart from removing the door?

I should come over one day Daniel, then we can O/C your processor and not waste that good cooling, also how much of that mesh do you have, cos I might buy some off you for my mod lol.
