Default how do you paint?(with an air compressor)

assume no knowledge of air compressors etc...
i recently got a 40L 2.5hp air compressor from super cheap(birthday present) and i just realised i havnt a clue when it comes to using a spray gun...
what paints can you use?
what do you need to add to the paint before putting it into the gun?
whats hardener and where can i get it?
what primer do you use with spray guns?
thanks

If at home, you can use Acrylic or 2Pac Isocyante Free Paints, The real 2pack is too dangerous to be spraying in a back yard.

Acrylic is THinners and Paint, The ratio would be on the label, 2pack is Thinners/Hardener/paint

Hardener hardens paint quickly, supercheap sell the Iso free stuff.

Primer depends on the Paint, ie, Acrylic Primer, 2pac iso free primer.

stick with the acrylic to start with, its easier to use and you will get less runs.

you will need some thinners, and some paint, you can get paint from autobarn or supercheap, just get automotive stuff.

primer just use some spray putty and sand back, then you MUST use "wax and grease remover" - supercheap etc, and dont touch the surface after that.

use the gun similar to a spray can, you will need to adjust it to suit, just read the manual as to how to do this..

remember to get heaps of thinners lol, it will come in handy.

With the right primer and prep work, yes.

Get filters with your gear?
Water condenses and comes through in droplets in your air if it's not trapped.
Supercheap et al, have them if you don't. They come as a pair, filter and trap.

one thing to note is always paint in a certain direction, if you cant get to parts of what your spraying with in that direction, do that area before you even start painting. this will reduce the amount of overspray on other bits/areas massively

Obviously not in HELL, the place doesent exist, but your body will degrade into raw elements, infact due to the large amount of preservatives you will actually be responsible for the death of quite a few plants.. but thats beside the point because hell doesent exist
