Default PS3 - DVD stuck in drive

Hey guys,

Just finished watching a DVD and it wont eject.

Pressing the button I can hear it go to move the DVD but then a clicking sound like its getting stuck. Wont come out and Video screen doesnt show the DVD as even being in there.

doh

Any ideas?

ooh, never mind it came out.

turns out the CD has some sticker like glue in the centre of the CD ontop of the label.

there was previously a label there as this particular DVD is an ex rental.

So word of warning, make sure you clean the glue off first before use.

I've had that happen with ex-rentals before, except when I pressed eject the tray came out, but the disc was still stuck to the spindle inside. It sure caused some scratching of heads when I knew there was a disc in there, but didn't know where it was.

Just hold the eject button for 10 seconds, its in the quick refrence manual....
