Default Thoughts on Dell XPS M1210 2ghz vs Apple Macbook 2.13ghz

Ok, what are peoples thoughts on the comparison between the two.

Similar pricing, and both equally applicable as tax writeoffs.
Macbook is thinner, and comes with a better power adaptor for travelling and a bigger HDD.
However, the Dell is a smaller form factor and has a better graphics card.

Thoughts on the comparo....

I've got the dell at home, not a bad little performer at all, with the 7300, but really, it's not enough to play the latest games and what not, truth is, especially when dealing with that little screen, its only really good for word processing (for me anyway.)

Cant comment on the macbook except to say its prettier. I think price versus features was why I chose the the dell at the time.

Most of what i will be doing with it is travel related, primarily presenting at conferences and having a workstation on the road.
Not interested in playing games (other than pointless timewasters on planes) with it. Graphics card would concievably be useful for C1Pro and Photoshop.

photoshop doesn't need a powerful graphics card as it's 2D work, not sure about C1Pro

Dell gives you the option of a 9 cell battery, that could be a big pro.

With the current promotions, the Dell has 2GB of RAM and the nVidia 7400GO.

That'd make it probably a bit faster than the Macbook, but it's a bit much of a muchness, really.
