Default Am i stuffed ???

I've a LG lappy, LS50a model. Bought late 2005. About 6-7 months ago, had constant BSODS after installing extra 512 ram. So recently decided to ressurect it, and traced the fault to a faulty RAM stick. So just got a 1gb kingston and it works great, however, after re-formatting, i realized, the original CD w/drivers, is gone. LG website driver/downlaods section is as useless as tits on a bull.

Win XP disc installed much of drivers its self. But i need specific drivers such as wireless LAN, mobo, onboard sound (AC95 i think) as well as the ATI drivers.

This is some specs afaik:

Mobo is some LG Electronics Mckinley .... INtel ??
Intel Pentium M Processor 1.6GHz
1MB Lvl 2 Cache
256MB (DDR 333MHz) Memory Upgraded to 1GB Kingston
ATI Mobility Radeon 9600/9200
15" LCD (XGA 1024x768)
60GB HD, DVD+/-RW COMBO Fujitsu
Internal 56Kbps Modem + 10/100 LAN + Intel Pro/Wireless Mini LAN

Question is, am i stuffed?? Perfectly working notebook but needs drivers, where do/could i go from here?

You are not stuffed but you will need to do a bit of research on the Internet.

Yep, you're stuffed. No-one ever has drivers available for laptops that are over 2 years old...EVER.

You need to level up your Google skills.

Google for "LG"
Find the "LG service" website
Select "Oceania"
Select the "Australia" option
Click on the button on the middle of the screen that says "driver device"
Select your model and O/S
Click "search"
Download your drivers

Took me less than 3 minutes to find it. It's not hard.
