printing question

We just had our dell inspiron 1600 delivered las week. I like this unit. It came with 2gig ram + 120gig HDD. At the office we have a wireless modem router thus complete access to everything including printing. At home however, its a different story.
What (cheap) solutions are there to allow easy access to the printer. My printer has ir capabilities (HPlaserjet 6P). Its an oldie but a goodie.
I guess eventually I will purchase the same wireless modem router, but not for a while though.
