Just thought I would let you all know that Stanford have released a "new" SMP client for all clients.
The new clients purely add a new expiration date to the code and is available at your favourite download site. The current client expires on the 2nd July! I wonder why they didn't make it the 4th?

By the looks of it, probably just goes over the top of the previous install, and should continue, just has the trial end date changed.

This has got to be one of the longest beta periods I've seen. Not that I'm complaining mind.

Great work iCit.....
Will fix them up over the weekend, hopefully they have improved a few things. Is it just a new executable to replace the old one, or a full uninstall-reinstall routine?

^ According to http://forum.folding-community.org/ftopic20376.html we can just install the new version in a different folder to the current one and copy only fah.exe and UILANG1.UDB (they are the only updated files) into the current folder and it should be fine.
I just tried this and it started to continue the WU from before, so it looks good

"One really doesn't have to worry about the expiration date so much. The client doesn't magically drop dead on that date. The beta client keeps running until you stop it. Then after the deadline passes, it simply won't restart, which should prompt you to download a new client. It not a big deal for most people."
From the folding forum.
