ps3 audio, need advice!

hey guys, wat do u recommend for the ps3 if i want decent quality audio thats around the $100 mark. or thats pretty impossible??

im currently waiting stock on the samsung 226bw monitor and want to get a set of speakers that will go well with it.

That's pretty much impossible.

Cheapo 5.1 systems like the Logitech X530 won't accept multichannel input from the PS3.

For that price, your only option would be to get a decent 2.1 set.

that is the optical output right at the back?? i guess 2.1 is wat im gonna hav to settle for then

Yeah optical out.
Only higher-end audio PC audio will accept that as input
