It would be great if you supplied a link to the case.

actually if you've bought the case recently, why don't you do a small review for us members! it would be great to see some pictures and stuffs?

It looks good as I am thinking of starting one HTPC myself

if you're building a HTPC, you might be interested in the HT version of the lanbox:

i'm thinking of getting this myself. it's about twice as much as the standard lanbox though

I still don't get why people buy something and then ask what people think of it... you'd think that it would be the other way around?

What are you putting into it?

Yes it will if you had of read the website link i gave you, but i will have to remove the HDD cage which means i can only support 1-2 HDD's instead of 3-4.

you won't want to be running 3-4 hdds anyway, it'll make the whole system too hot and inefficient

digging up an old thread, but anyway.

Hows everyone going with this case? Im thinking of building a system around it. Just worried about the cooling... is it ok?

Thinking of buying the case now and seeing how it can be modded, then buy the parts in 2-3 months.
Would ditch the hdd tray and put my own single hdd bracket in on the floor of the case. Also can the front plastic stealth bays be removed so I can put a 5.25" fan controller in?

The case runs a bit warm which is to be expected I guess.

CPU tends to stay between the 40-60 region and video card runs at 60-70 (X1900XTX), although if it wasn't being blocked by the PCI tv tuner next to it it'd probably be a fair bit cooler.

I've removed the HDD cage to accomodate the video card and have the HDD mounted with a bracket in the top 5.25" bay. The manual does have a way of removing the drive cover, although it didn't look all that easy.

They work fine with quad core cpu's too, but you might want to cut out the fan grilles for the 60mm fans next to the cpu and install some slightly more powerful ones. If you are good at modding you can probably fit 8-9 hdds + one optical drive in it.

i personally have a silverstone SG-01 evolution. considered teh thermaltake, but didn't like the layout or the 60mm fans, and looks cluttered.
