yeh Ive been looking at teh site myself during the week, hoping it doesnt end until I can get there, but the times i've been there hes always asked me "how much is that?" and I've told him and hes said "you got that off the site?" and yeh hes honoured the price.
but I might print it out tomorrow like you said.

Just take a print out just incase but he has always gave me the deal that was advertised.

Or it could be that I have boobs.

heheh well I got all the drives on monday for the $129 price he said I could have the whole 5000 he's got if I wanted lol and formatting one up now to see how long these suckers take, and then I have to wait another week til i can do this intel upgrade to truely enjoy them

Its going to be interesting to see what happens to the 500gb/750gb prices. Seagate and samsung are coming out with drives that are faster than their currrent offerings. We could be just seeing run out proices as they try to get rid of stock or the new ones could be positioned at higher price because of higher performance capabilities.

From what i have seen the current drives have max throughput of 80 (ish) mb/s, the seagates take it up to 106 mb/s (25ogb /platter) and the samsung will be 130ish (333/platter)or something like that (real swag). They should have faster min throughput and bump up the avg by a fair bit also.

Wish they would hurry up and come out.

might make the 750gb more reasonable too.

fudgin hell, $129 for 500gb?

oh to be in sydney (or for MSY to bloody get the samsung drives back in stock...) - that said im not sure my 350w PSU which is already running 2 HDDs and 2 optical drives and a S478 system would be able to handle another HDD.

It depends on what your psu is like.


Mines only a 450w running 5 drives and always raping it.
