This has been done before but mine is:

Ham, Cheese, Tomato ... pineapple AND vegemite!

Yes, it sounds wierd, but has all the familiar flavours of ole faithful plus the sweet and sour trade off.

Awesome stuff.

The only cause of a heart attack would be when I am running a marathon

when i make toasties i lightly butter the outside of the bread. and i mean -lightly-. you don't need much at all. and i use an electric fry pan. i prefer toasting sammiches that way than using a jaffle iron. i hate those damn things with a vegence. the sammie presses are ok though.

My fav is: roast lamb, Cheese and BBQ sauce!

A variation of that is to chop up the left over roast lamb, spread it over a pita bread which has been lightly grilled and covered with BBQ sauce, add cheese and a bit of garlic and grill or throw in the oven!

Sunset the best way to make a toasted sandwhich without a press is if you have cast iron frypans (prefferably two of them) is to heat them both up on the flame and then place the sandwich into one of them and then base down place the frying pan ontop of the other one so it squishes it down

Ummm.....yeah

My other fav is a Jaffle with chopped onion, tomato, cheese and a whole egg! Where possible I like to fry up some diced onion and add that too with a spot of tomato sauce! I like the jaffles that don't cut the sangas in half!

two pieces of left over pizza topping sides together in a sandwitch press. Or you can cut it up right and stick it in a jaffel iron.

tastes like a giant hot Pizza Shape

Garlic butter, Tomato, cheese, mixed herbs and meat of choice usually chicken or sliced meat. + normal butter on the outside so it browns nicely
