yeah, i guess thats the point im trying to make

fair enough, if you only want to spend a minimum get the lama and enjoy it

but if you want to learn then its definitely not the only or even best way to go, and a more capable heli is a viable option

Looks good so far, are you using loctite on the fixed screws?

Blue ThreadLock is a must! On any Screw that goes into metal, you dont want your bird to fall out of the sky and crash cause a screw has come loose.

Thats one nice looking heli you're building there. The instructions look pretty comprehensive as well.

For my Blade CX2 bought the New Boom kit and heatsink and put them on my heli yesterday. Can't believe how stable the little heli is compared to my old dragonfly

Nice one squeezer! Do you notice a little more responsiveness and a quicker FFF with the new tail?

certainly although any FFF is limited severely by where I have been flying it ( 4 metre x 4 metre ).

Hopefully There will be some still days next weekend where I can take it outside. Inside is also fairly limited ceiling hight wise due to ceiling fan and pendant lights.

Have gone through about 5 battery pack charges now and no breakages of anything yet.

Can really get some crazy speed spins with the new tail going clockwise
Going to try and get the missus to take another video of it flying.

If anybody is wanting some cheap blades for the trex450 or other 325mm heli, The ones of ebay for $9.50 are pretty good value, They are stronger then Align pros and balanced as good as the align blades.

Hey I am looking at getting a chopper, I have a PiccoZ want something bigger.

I was looking at the T-Rex choppers, from http://www.wattsuprc.com.au/

If I was going to buy one which one should I get and also what accessories/spare parts?

Not looking to spend too much, but what do you guys and girls think?

If you want a CP I'd consider a Dragonus II now that they're starting to come into the country. A lot cheaper than a T-Rex, and according to some of the guys on rc-groups who own both, much nicer to fly as well. It's a big leap from a Picoo to a CP though, have you considered a CX or even an FP?

Sorry to ask but wtf is "CP, CX and CX"?

Also I like the old style, with one blade at the top and one on the tail.
