Default X360 Marketplace not working?!

Hey guys. I've had my 360 for 2-3 weeks now and i've got all the latest updates (including the one yesterday), and the 1month Live Gold trial. Everytime I check, the marketplace tab says "Currently Unavailable". Surely the service hasn't been down the whole 3 weeks i've had it. Is there something I'm missing or haven't set up properly or is the marketplace simply not available in Australia?

It works fine. There's probably a problem with your network connection to the 360.

Hmmm its weird. I can download updates and play online fine though. Might have to give customer service a call.

You're set to the right country right? Your profile isn't set to a country that doesn't have a Marketplace by any chance?

It's set to Australia. I tried setting it to USA and still no go. When I get time i'll give MS a call and see whats up. :/ Bit bummed I'm missing out on the 360 experience though.

I tried to add MS points the other night a few times and it said service unavailable and then about 5 mins later they just popped up. If any one wants to try this for me my credit card number is.............. yea right

Got it working. Bit of googling info I somehow missed before fixed it

"Delete any local copies of the "Marketplace Data" System Item, and restart the Dashboard."
