Default Partitioning problems.

Because I'm a certified Idiot (Don't ask), I ended up putting my OS on a 5gb partition which is now running out of space (I know, throw abuse at me for being stupid if you wish.)

But anyway, the annoying part is:
I'd resize it, but Partition Magic Doesnt Recognize my boot drive when it's a logical drive.

(Partiton the arrow is pointing to is a logical drive)
But yeah, my need for a bigger os drive is kinda dire.. (Or getting there.) any ideas?

The easiest way (and the safest way) would be to back up your important data, and then format your HDD, and make the partition that Windows will be installed on bigger.

I haven't had to ghost, or have done it before, but it might be an option.

My os etc is fine, it's just that I can't install shit that needs to put stuff on the OS Partition (I store everything seperatly, I didn't expect them to need the os drive :P)

What are you installing on the OS partition? You should be able to install everything on seperate drives (even My Documents/etc).

there's a bothersome "Common Files" folder that i don't have any control over apparently. I was thinking along Nuxie1's idea when I partitioned my drives too...

you realize splitting up the os and games that far physically on the hdd slows them down, right
