Not a bad setup. The 900cases dont really seem to like water cooling that much, not heaps of room

What temps are you getting? In a room thats say 23degrees i would expect:

Idle:
- CPU Cores: 35/37
- GPU1: 43
- GPU2: 44

Load:
- CPU Cores: 48/53
- GPU1: 55
- GPU2: 56

Perhaps something like that? Does the loop go:

Pump > 240mm Rad > CPU Block > 120mm Rad > GPU 1 > GPU2 Res (As far as i can make out from the pics?)

I would think you would need another 240mm rad in there in stead of the 120mm.

I have a 240mm Rad cooling a 8800GTX OC + Q6600 OC and it does a good job, when i added in a extra 120mm Rad temps only went down by 1-3 degrees. I seriously think a 240mm would suite your loop better.

BUT, Anything cooler then 70+ on GTX's is good

at snoozeys

your setup is set up wrong, you have the pump outlet which the top barb of the pump, its pumping water in to your reservoir, its more effiecient having the pump pushing water than sucking water through the loop.

the inlet of the pump is the one on the side of the pump, the top is the outlet.

but otherwise, nice setup

ps: make sure you have the reservoir before the inlet, makes bleeding air out and filling up the loop alot easier

Thanx Rnegade!

At idle (with the 120 fan on low, and the 220 fans on medium, pump on max (5), I am getting:

CPU: 43/44
GPU1: 43
GPU2: 45

At load (from a quick test last night (5-8mins of CoD4 SP @ Max):

CPU: 47/49
GPU1: 47
GPU2: 50

So, although the idle is relatively highish, the Delta isn't too bad I guess...

As for the Setup, you are indeed correct.

No worries mate.

Your idle temps are high thanks to the Twin GPUs in the loo, even at idle that produce a fair amount of heat. But, as you notice the rads seems to handle the heat well enough to keep the "loaded" temps pretty close to idle.

My 8800GTX idled at about 36 degrees and loaded up to 39-41 depending on ambient temps which i thought was awesome so with two of em, i would be happy with that.

nice work

That's probably not a great load test really to be honest. What you need to do to check load is have something pushing all 4 cores to 100% & then something pushing the graphics cards to the limit too. Something like running either 4 instances of folding or just the SMP client while running 3DMark06 in a loop over & over again for at least half an hour or so should give you a good indication of what your true load temps are.

Yeah, I know. But for me, really the most load I will get is playing games! If it sticks to those temps (which is has been for longer gaming as well), then I will be pretty happy. Not as happy as some, but happy enough...

First, I have to say, you guys have some great looking cases and setups. I like down at mine, and, I feel so... Small.

@ n3wbi379, I love the blue LED fans, reminds me of a rave party >_>
@ spikes, I like the neatness of your current pc
@ GOD, there's a reason you choose that name, isn't there? =P
@ Flabbergast, I love that deep blue, wish I could get something like that going
@ alyxander, DUDE!

With mine, I feel like I have diluted the coolant too much, it looks clearer than it should be. But, I did follow the instructions. Anyway, here is mine:

Thumbscrews from PCCG:

Overall:

Bottom half:

Top half:

Overall front:

Overall, overall:

I know, it's a bit messy

I was half thinking about getting a second loop for the video cards. The problem is, it costs money. And I've probably already spent more than I should have.

Ok, here my rig, except now theres no gfx card, about to be replaced so loop is likely to change.

Pics were taken while leak testing, so yes the loop was running.
It hard to get the cables looking neat up the top with the 5 hdds, anyone got advice?

PS. All shots taken by a camera i bought new from ebay for 30 dollars including freight, lol.

[EDIT] I had a hose clamp slip/break the other day and coolant leaked onto the 7950gx2(the replacement one) so now this rig is out of order and will be till a new card finds its wqay into my hands.

motherboard tray? it doesn't go up there where the hdds are, apart from that its got no holes for cable management, i have made one though.
The biggest problem i find is that the cables from the ocz power supply are very thick and dont bend much compared to normal cables.
There are some long thin holes along the side of the 5.25" bays but my cables won't fit through them since they are not normal thickness.
