Just finished off my spare rig: Its nothing special but i plan to add a 3850 512MB and a Another GPU Block for it and probably some more rads
But for a spare games rig i dont know if i can be bothered water cooling the GPU when i upgrade.I took the case to a mates place on the weekend, cut some holes in it (rad grills are coming soon to keep my daughters fingers away from the core). My mate did a average job with the jigsaw, i want to get some rubber to put around the cut also. The case was a old one i had lieing around that i thought needed the chop ![]() Also got a XTC Memory cooler from Flabbergast the other day so i threw that on there also - its a bit noisy but its certainly tollerable and seems to be doing a good job. Hardware: E6600 @3.6GHz 1.4V, Gigabyte P965-DS4 Mobo, Transcend 2x2GIG DDR2 800MHz Ram, ATI 2400Pro 256mb, WD250gig SATAII with a D-Tek Fuzion CPU Block, D-Tek DB1 Pump, XPSC 120mm Rad, Swiftech MicroRes and 1/2" Barbs. Temps: 21/22 Idle and 36/38 Loaded up in COD4. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I like the black paint inside the case, makes it look like a well finished job.

Sure is, that looks sweet. Mirror finish FTW!
LOL - not compared to the others on here. But this is fine for a spare games rig. I will get a decent HTPC case for it and throw that together down the track. Mine also runs the BD1 and its actually doing a great job. I wouldnt hesitaite to get another one for another rig. I think it would handle a GPU block thrown in no worries. Its pretty compact and really quiet. |

Can i ask why you chose to mount the rad that way you did? I would of placed it the other way around, i think it would look cleaner, and it would be really easy for you to do even though you have already set up the system.
BTW. The rig looks fantastic with the black and green
