Well im quite impressed so far.

The level of realism (depth of gameplay) is vast..I guess considering the area of operation. Multiplayer is where this game is / should excell.

Cant wait for the full (boxed) release.

I was running 1.01 beta on 3 x 1920x1200 screens.. looked very nice indeed.. but the 1.02 patch killed it.. bugger

frame rates weren't too bad either.. 25fps roughly

Everyone who hasn't got one already, don't forget to buy yourself a Track IR. This games immersion is increased 10fold with one.

Hopefully they will support freetrack!

That will cost you approx $50 including the webcam to make I'll be making one as soon as it supports it

EDIT: WRT EVGA SLi configs, really has not helped in my case (SP Campaign Manhattan onwards), in fact it crashes more.

In Single Missions it does add a few fps, but definately not as good as I had it running once on a clean install... Don't know this game is so unoptimised that its obviously not the GPU being the bottleneck, and perhaps the game is not handling i7s very well? bugger knows i'm sick of trying to make it work

Yeah, I want to do this too... I might do it using the wiimote which is supposed to be one of the best ways to go about it (much less cpu usage than a webcam).

Im running it on a 3.1ghz E4300 (overclocked obviously); its playable and ok, but not stelllar.

The thing is, this game doesnt seem to be GPU limited. It seems heavily CPU limited.

Im thinking unless your i7 is quad core or heavily overclocked, itll probably be around the speed of my overclocked Core 2, and maybe 10-20% faster. Better, but not enough to make a difference.

I will try it on a very similar system i have, except quad core and not overclocked, so running around 2.7ghz. That should give me a good idea how much difference quad core makes

The CPU limiting comes from the view distance.
