Brass is actually zinc and copper, where copper is >50% of the alloy composition. Comes in 3 styles, Alpha (zinc <35%) for forging and pressing , Alpha-Beta (35-45% zinc) for extrusions, and Beta (45-50% Zinc) for castings.

Bronze is copper and tin (optionally with some zinc and lead as well)

I might have to get these as well :/ I bought a cheap plastic inlet adaptor for my 1250 eheim and it was leaking when I installed it. Its been running since then with a bit of electrical tape around it but I have to fix that.

Maybe it would be an idea for Silverprop (just an example) or some other online shop to stock these? It would just be easier for people to get them that do not have access to purple pig (ie me)
