Default Isthis guy for real??

I'm not a computer expert or anything, but it sounds like this computer in the PCDB is made up. If I was gonna make up a computer, I wouldn't put stuff like this in it.
  • Socket 8 Asus motherboard (aren't these for Pentium Pro?)
  • Quad Duron 700's
  • Overclocked to 1900Mhz @ 4.1V vcore
  • 2 ATA100 SCSI drives stand alone
  • 2 ATA100 SCSI drives in a RAID 50 array
  • Soundblaster Live with ISA interface
  • 128K modem (ISDN maybe??)
  • Running Windows 2000XP

All this is apparently "watercooled with twin fans", but I doubt water would be able to keep a 4.1V duron cool!! If this is not a fake computer, im going to die!

Um... isn't ATA-100 an IDE standard?
If he'd wanted to be really schmick, he should at least have said something which sounded like a SCSI standard - like 'Ultra-Ultra-Really-Amazingly-Wide' or something.

Just out of interest, under what name is that PCDB entry? I'd love to have a brief look

I liked that bit the best.

To start with, there isn't a "Raid 50" level. 53, yes, but not 50. Raid 53 also needs a minimum of 5 drives, so I don't see how he's using two.

Ever heard of the KT7(A)-RAID? Of course IDE raid is possible, both in software and hardware.

What a moron, everybody knows you only have to bridge the "Run processors in series" jumper on the motherboard to get a 700x4=2800Ghz, and at close to stock voltage to.
Jeeez what a fool.

Yes...

But there is no such thing as "ATA 100 SCSI".
