Question E2160 & 680i Mobo compatible??

Anybody tried booting up with E2160 cpu & Nvidia's 680i chipset mobo??
I having trouble with this combo, I know I have P28 bios and are aware of P30 bios, but nothing on the mobo vendors website informs about support for E2160 cpus or Nvidia's for either bios version. I have tried swapping ram sticks but still no bios image on screen. Everything else is powering up.
I have E6600 I could use, but want to see if E2160 works first.

Are you sure the mobo works? I would suspect the e2160 to work in that board.

Try the 6600 to ensure the mobo is operational.

If it works then update the bios and try the 2160 again.
