I just got uncapped today, so i'd download it... But is it available to those who have the Black Box? (got it with my 2900xt).

If not, diddums. Just have to wait for the full thing

I believe it was only released with the valve orange box

If your capped but your isp is with internode it will download at max speed via STEAM - if you join a node TF2 server you wont lag either as it treats your connection as uncapped - same goes for downloading files from node.

There's a bunch of quakeworld teamfortress guys who will be getting on, myself included (snowflash). I think there are plans to join at 3am tomorrow morning if there are servers available, but I'd say after work/school on Tuesday we should be seeing a fairly high number of players.

Also, the Black Box is no more. Those who got Black Box vouchers will get a neutered Orange Box including HL2 Ep2, TF2 and Portal. You'll also receive DoD Source if you didn't already have it

I'll be there tuesday arvo - have preloaded it now - my first Steam purchase.

I've not played since the death of the WA Teamfortress League. Here's hoping this takes off.

I remember the promise of TF2 back in beta CS days. And thats a LOOOONG time ago.

If my memory serves me correctly, HL1 came with TF2 gameplay shorts on the CD as a preview.

How long ago was that? 9 years ago?

I might give this a shot after I hear some feedback about the removal of CTF, Bhop & concjumping..

Curious how/if this will be played in league matches..
