I consistently get 200+ on my heavy with a mate pocket medic

So much fun

At times at least, sucks being too one sided.

So I folded last night, had another game and bought a pyrokey, to unbox another FREAKIN' "Helmet without a home"!!! That's three unboxed in a row!!!

RAGE. Then I decided to attempt to combine two of the helmets into one, which resulted in this!

Shit man, you need a hug. Or maybe a charity setup to get you a decent hat.

GGF looks like it's come a long way since I was there last a few years ago... They seem to have lots of sponsorship and a more structured gaming regime than in the past. When I was there it always wound up being a big DC++ porn & movie leechfest, and things were getting a bit crazy (no one was playing games ).

Would love to go to it again one day, have some great memories from there. Like the shitty holden I tagged along in breaking down about half a km away and us having to push it down the main drag in peak traffic

Off topic warning
Could anyone tell me if I can accept a "gift game" on Steam then pass it on to my son?
I am unsure as to Accept gift puts the game in my library or inventory?

Regards,
Dave

PS Thanks Rezin, Ans: Yes, accept game to inventory, then gift again...

Ends up in your games list, AFAIK... don't think you could then gift it away again. Why can't you accept the gift to your son's account?

World's worst spy, which is odd given how easily I spot them.

I've got well over 1000h too, and have seen two hackers in my time. One was a scout that moved very strangely, can't remember the hack itself but he wasn't really detracting from the game and it was ages ago.
Did meet a wallhacking + aimbot sniper a couple of weeks ago though - the admins dealt with him pretty quickly after we'd confirmed it though.

It's rare enough that I find it interesting coming up against them tbh, just to see what they can do.

Spy stuff, fwiw as a regular spy I see more unregistered backstabs than I get facestabs, so maybe it's broken both ways.

On a personal note, I'm playing a fair bit of scout these days, it's doing wonders for my aiming accuracy/reflexes (which have been comically bad in the past ), and also demo which has become my go-to class when you're trying to save a badly failing team

I didn't know about using the ash... which is a shame. I turned all mine into crates and high-rolled for a night - got 4 keys, two strange rainblowers, a hat and something else... worth it I guess considering I've spent $10 on it in the last 12 months or so

Played a few hours as Spy last night (which I never do).
I've never liked being a spy but forced myself to try it out.

Hooked now The feeling of getting 4 backstabs and destroying their sentry's with the zapper is such a rush!.

Was hard going though, died heaps to start with from running into people too often. I soon learnt you need to be picky when using a Spy because sometimes you just cant get in behind them, or another class is required to meet the objective.

I'll have to edit the Spy loadout because i'm sure I had a watch that would regen when not moving but I cant find it now .

Really enjoying everyone's stories here.

Ever since I discovered class scripts I haven't been able to stop playing battle engineer. Such a simple script completely changes the game;

Middle mouse click --> Destroy placed sentry --> Build new sentry --> Switch back to last active weapon.

You have so much control when playing aggressively as a battle engineer, being able to drop a gun with one click and straight away continue laying the smack down with the shotgun.
