run the game with -nosplash or something. problem solved. (she'll just have to get used to tf2 music that way)

OK I think there are alot of gouys here getting pwned by their wifes / GF. Lets post wife diversion methods here, maybe if we pool resources we can keep em of our backs. Here is what I have done:

* Promised to take the wife out for 1 "romantic" (her words) night a week
* Have to cook at least one meal a week

Diversion tactics:

* Say that I'm finishing off some work (while chatting in steam)
* "Had a hard day @ work need some stress relief"
* Send her out shopping or riding her horse or something....

-novid, just right click on the Steam TF2 shortcut and click "Set launch options", then you just add "-novid"

I've had that happen a few times, I've put it down to 1) dodgy netcode, so I'm seeing hits, but the server is actually seeing me miss by a bit or 2) he had been buffed by a medic previously and was close to 150% health, so after me hitting him a few times he was still at 100%

Had a round on Hydro two days ago where an opposition pyro was invisible to our whole team for the entire round. You'd just see flames appear out of nowhere and you'd be burning.

I'm up for the support group.

My diversion tactics include:

Getting her stuck on the phone with her siblings interstate.
Get her involved with online forums (tho if like me your only on 512, an the bandwidth gets sucked away)

I have not promised her anything as im not the romance type (she keeps reminding me every week)

I was watching and didn't see a medic on him at all and after all the time I spent filling him with needles some damage to his normal health should have happened.

I got a new mobile phone the other day and put a TF2 picture as the wallpaper... Needless to say she wasn't impressed.

I like it, and it matches the TF2 startup ringtone
