I pretty much only play pyro, and only use backburner, I rush a group of players from behind and easily take them all out, love taking out 5 players on a cart from behind

Finally getting back into tf2 during my exam period , 2 hours to get all my sniper achievements (have done 31/38 now, just need the kills lots of people ones now), 4 hours for the pyro achievements, and 48 hours idling to get 20 items (5 fucking jarates, 6 fucking ambassadors!). The scount and medic achievements pissing me off though, especially the uber every class ones for medic, they are fun to get.

I keep finding that my fave classes are demoman or medic, demo just seems to be that much more fun than soldier or heavy for me, and medic is fucking brilliant on pipeline, I love it

I really want a hat. I've only seen the Heavy, Medic, and Solly hats so far though

Had fun the other night as pyro lighting the arrows for the snipers on 2fort. Question: Do the fire arrows set the target alight on impact?

i read about that somewhere, but so far I've only been arrowed normally which is frightfully boring... then again I've also never seen a scout using his shotgun to jump. if only i could somehow "find" one to play with...

It depends on where the scout is trying to go - my most used spot for it is on the third round of one of the payload maps, there's a balcony against a wall you can triple jump to that will take you down some stairs to a spot where its right easy to pistol down some of the sentries, or if there aren't any to wreak hell from behind.

NOOO
Not good. The new steam client update just ate my TF2.
It's disappeared, seems like a pretty common problem though.

the 20 odd people in chat are ok... were you both pre-loading games? maybe that is what caused it?

Nah I wasn't. It seems there are many people on the Steam forums that have the same problem as well. I've never had any problems with Steam prior to this. Really frustrating. I hope a fix comes soon.

Spawn camping increases 10 fold when you've got a medic behind you constantly healing after the initial uber is over.

Pyro was just an example but I meant it for all classes. There are lots of selfish players out there that leave you for dead instead of protecting you when an enemy is chasing you. You're pretty much their bait.

I agree with everything you said on the Pyro part because that's mostly how I play too. Or if I can see the uber is running out and I wish to suicide it I'll let the medic know to pull out on voice chat.
