Question x51v Getting started CD-ROM cracked/broken

Hi guys.. in bit of a dilemma and was wondering if you could help.

I tried to install Active Sync and other software from getting started cd-rom that came with my x51v, but my pc didn't recognise the cd-rom.

So I took the cd-rom out and noticed a large crack on the under side of cd-rom - so looks like the cd-rom is a goner

Looked at dell.com.au web site and no where can I find online a place to download the apps I need which are on the getting started cd-rom ?

Any assistance would be great

thanks

George

If you're just after ActiveSync, you can find it here;

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...c/default.mspx

There's options there for the PC you will sync to for either XP or Vista

If all else fails, send me a PM. I've got an X51V too.
