When I click on properties on my computer it says:
T7300 @ 2.00GHz 1.2GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM What does the 1.2GHz mean? Is the processor running under clock speed? I thought maybe I have some power saving option enabled somewhere or something? |

It just means that SpeedStep is running the CPU at low speed to save power.
If you do something stressful (like 32M SuperPI) it'll go back up to 2Ghz (you might need to use CPU-Z to show the CPU speed in real-time).

It is stickied in the Intel hardware forum. Unfortunately people tend not to read that.
