Default Heatsink

Well it's been well over a year since I've bought my laptop and it seems to heat up ALOT more when I'm gaming (using max cpu) than when it used to when I first bought it, which causes lots of overheating problems with wireless etc.

Just wondering, when I flip open the panels, what should I look for heat-sink wise, to see if it's dirty and how could I clean it? Not really experienced in this, but I've already tried vacumming the fans (I know I'm not supposed to but I heard it helps) and even using a notebook cooler, nothing really changes..

Thanks for the help!
