as title states
basically just wondering it the PSU in the SB81P can handle a 7900GTX (not overclocked) atm im running a 7800GTX, but i think 7800GTX uses more power then a 7900GT and uses about the same power as a 7900GTX not sure on that but want to clarify it. but down to it, only wanting to find out if i can run a 7900GTX in my SB81P, without doing any damage! thanks guys..D

Should be fine 7900GTX uses less power than a 7800GTX.

It _should_ be okay to use, as previously said it uses less power than a 7800GT.
I've got an 8800GTS in my SD37P2 which has a 400W so I'm fairly confident that you'd be able to pop your 7900 in there with little problems. |

Honestly haven't tried Overclocking with the compy as I've not seen the need. Traditionally Shuttles aren't the best overclockers in general anyway (due to space constraints etc) but you should be okay, just overclock as normal and find the right balance :-)

not many people can fit a suitable aftermarket cooler into their shuttle
they usually stick with the ICE pipe thing, and upgrade the cooler on their gfx card do note though, some shuttles have been modded to fit watercooling, eg. SN26P and SD37P2

yeh very tru that, i cbf doing water in a small case
i might remove the HSF from the shuttle and put some AS5, might help it a little, might give it a dust too! see i like to have my shuttle nice and quiet, thats why it gets hot cause not much air is moving..
