Well, bought a PS3 last week so I may as well put it to some use. Guess I'll throw a few points OCAUs way, can't see me leaving the little fellow chugging along once the hot summer nights start hitting though.

Another folder here... not quite 24x7 but I'm more than happy to throw a few CPU cycles out for the team.

I purchased a PS3 to play two games which aren't released yet... so I figure I may as well let it fold

Thumbs up PS3 F@H Update 1.3

Good evening, my fellow folding fiends,

New update available! New features include:

- The ability to shut down your console after a certain time or wu is finished
- Play music stored on your PS3 while you fold. I think it also comes with some music you can play too, it was playing some easy listening guitar type stuff when I started it just now.

It needs the latest firmware update in order to work. That's as much as I know so far.

Link with more detailed information:

Cheers,

Zero

My brothers PS3 is folding almost 24/7. Only stops when we watch a blue ray movie which isn't often.

Downloading the program at the moment

Just curious how big are the files they send you? just because I'm capped at the moment to 64k speed i want to help with this project as much as possible. I'm going to try and leave it running 24/7 for a month or so while my parents are on holidays.

Cheers

Shannon

shouldn't be any more than 5mb at a time if not 3mb or less.
