hey guys im in the market for a new lappy and im tossing up between these toshibas:
Toshiba Satellite A200/Q01 Notebook Processor Intel Core Duo 2.0GHZ RAM Size 1GB Hard Drive Size 120GB Screen Size 15.4" TrueBrite Widescreen Disc Drive DVD SuperMulti Writer Operating System Vista Home Premium 5 in 1 Card Reader 1.3mp Webcam with Mic for $1187 VS Toshiba Satellite A200/V01 Notebook Processor Intel Core 2 Duo 1.73GHZ processor RAM Size 512MB + 512MB Hard Drive Size 80GB HDD Screen Size 15.4" TrueBrite Widescreen Disc Drive DVD SuperMulti Writer Operating System Vista Home Basic for $900 basically its a trade off: a core 2 duo vs. having norton IS, bigger hdd, webcam, 5 in 1 card reader(i dont know what this is lol) and vista premium. Which one would you learn towards?? Feel free to suggest other lappies aswell! Thank you sooo much! |

The Core Duo will be faster. The Core 2 Duo supports 64-bit though, so you'll be able to use it with Vista 64-bit if/when you upgrade.
