Hi, Looking for a small device, which allows me to Surf the internet, look up stocks, buy and sell shares, and connect to wireless router using WIFI

Any recommendations ?

Pretty much the cheapest new laptop you can buy, just ensure it's running 1GB of RAM and you'll be fine.

You didnt say "what form factor (laptop/pda/tiny-pc)"

If your talking about a pc, I would get a 2nd hand intel mac mini. (but i've already got monitors/keyboards/mice)

Maybe the Palm T|X ?

This one can surf the net, buy and sell shares?

Check stocks?

Any PDA with wifi (which is most) can surf the net, and obviously check stocks on the net. But you've got to be near a wifi hotspot, or at home near your own wireless router.
You could get something that's 3G, preferably HSDPA, and then get a data plan. 3 are the only ones with decent data plans.
The Dopod PDA's are good, 3G, and wifi i believe.

I have one of these and is good to surf the net etc. Nice big screen and can use different views. Your biggest problem may be some of the websites you are browsing and whether they have special pages for handheld devices or if you can view what you want on the page.

I may even be selling mine...
