it's still on the first page.

I'm going to expect it in 5 working days (That means next Wednesday because Monday is a public holiday) so that I'm not bouncing around the office on Friday afternoon, while chasing up couriers to see where it's at.

Still, if I don't get a call back in an hour (like old mate Patrick said), I'll call them and see if they can change the status on the tracking thing on Dell's site.

I wouldn't worry too much bout that. Even with my delivery problems I got mine 23 days before my due date.

Spent most of last night getting rid of lots of crap. I was thinking about setting it up they way I want, ghost it, delete the Dell partitions and then put my ghost image back on it. Also interested in what speed advantage RAIDing would give.

hahaha im almost tempted to say it will be before then. Its just an "Just Incase" procedure from dell to cover their ass. Same was said for my Inspiron a few years back, arrived in 6 working days.

Scored 11,700 on 3DMark06 last night ... I lost bout 100 points using the current drivers from Dell website. I haven't used nVidia's reference drivers yet. Played COD4 at 1920x1200 and it was rather nice but much better at 1600.

Ended up with a 2.5GHz, 2x200GB HDD (I might RAID these later), 4gb RAM, and the 8800's. I couldn't find anywhere to to overclock the 8800's, but I think I'll need the standard nvidia reference drivers for that, would be nice to try and hit 12,000 on a laptop

Will get some pics tonight.

Shipping will be 1-2 weeks.

Dell Finance is good and takes less than 1 hour for approval.
